Hey there, I'm Jimmy Rios. Back in 2017, my wife and I embarked on a new adventure together as business owners. I am a former Firefighter and EMT, turned Business Owner and Safety Coach.

Before diving into the world of business, I had a career as a firefighter with the California Department of Forestry (CDF). My time on the front lines taught me a crucial lesson: every emergency situation is unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution.

As owner of Life Safety Associates, I now specialize in corporate training and Emergency Response Team (ERT) development. Hands-on training is at the core of what we do. While practice doesn't make perfect, it does make us better prepared.

So, whether you're looking to discuss general safety, corporate training, or need some no-nonsense advice, I'm your guy. My unique blend of experience, passion, and storytelling makes me a one-of-a-kind resource in the world of safety and emergency response.

Hi, I'm Jenny Rios! Back in 2017, my husband and I embarked on a new adventure together as business owners. I am a former corporate event planner turned entrepreneur. Little did I know I would still be planning events on a daily basis!

As owner of Life Safety Associates, I now specialize in operations for our corporate training and Emergency Response Team (ERT) development business. Hands-on training is at the core of what we do, but most importantly we help businesses like yours build ERT Teams with ease, and train competent and confident first responders who are ready to respond to an emergency.

However, it's not all business for me! I'm also our household CEO, travel planner, and prime wrangler of our 2 teenage athletes. Oh yeah, and I'm also the producer of a little thing called the Life & Safety Podcast.

Hello, I’m Megan! I originally trained as an EMT back in 2021.

Life took me down a different path, and a couple years ago I had the opportunity to join the Life Safety team as an instructor.

Not only do I enjoy teaching, but I also love learning. I’m currently pursuing a degree in dance education and kinesiology.
